A once-in-a-Lifetime Journey to our Spiritual Roots over Anatolia onto Ephesus

Go on a 10 day spiritual travel with Paul Skorpen
01- 11. Oct. 2019, plus the possibility to stay a week extra in Ephesus
A journey which combines relaxation with inspiration. We have planed enough time to take a bath in the thermalsprings, meditate and contemplate over the primordial energies.
Paul Skorpen has spent years exploring the mystical places in the field and their ancient religions. These trips are very exclusive, individual and take place in a small group.
The emergence of patriarchal religions, resulting in a repression of female spirituality, has had a defining effect on the world development and the self.
Our spiritual heritage, as children of Abraham, rose out of earlier beliefs that placed the divine feminine on equal part with the divine masculine.
It is very comforting to see these faiths — the Old Egyptian, Greek and Roman — created cultures that were more egalitarian, nature based, and promoted gender equality.
In the Autumn of 2019 we have planned a once in a lifetime seminar travel back to our roots, a comforting wisdom sleeping deep in our DNA and our morphogenetic fields.
What we will experience with Paul:
You have to take a flight from your hometown to Sanlurfa where our time together will start. Sanlıurfa, also known as the land of the prophets
Sanlıurfa is considered as the birth place of Prophet Abraham and there is a mosque in the memory of him. Also it is considered as the birth place of Prophet Eyyup (Job).
The trip will start at Göbeklitepe, an extraordinary 12,800 year old temple that has shaken our conception of human and spiritual development to the core. Meditations and talks will prepare us to dive deep into its meaning. The major part of this site is till unexplored, lying buried under the ground.

We will continue, overland, onto Mt. Nemrut: the massive temple-tomb and house of the gods. There are painted gigantic statues of gods and kings on the thrones about 10 meters high on the east terrace. The faces of the statues are looking at the sun.

Next stop will be Cappadokien is magical and home to early Christian communities.
The weird and wonderful world of Cappadocia might be the most amazing place in Turkey.
It has beautiful rock formations with some great hidden rock carved churches.

We travel on to Catalhöyük (7400–6200 BC.), where the veneration of the Primordial Mother once thrived. There will be a guided meditation for the godess mother. It is known that this BronzeAge society was matriarchal, peaceful, spiritual rather than materialistic, and sexually uninhibited. Women were respected for their life-giving powers, and the feminine mysteries were worshipped.

At Catalhöyük we will also visit Konya, where the enlightened Sufi Rumi lived his life and is buried.
'Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.' Rumi

Slowly we continue onto Pamukkale where we visit the Limestone terraces and the ancient and historic city of Hierapolis. We will spend two nights at this wonderful place to swim in the hot spring water and for relaxation.
[widgetkit id="28" name="gallery-xx"]
Afterwards we visit the extraordinary temple 'Aphrodisias', which was built in honor of the Greek beauty Aphrodite.
[widgetkit id="29" name="gallery-xx"]
After that epic travel, through time and psyche, we will reach Selcuk and spend one night in a hotel at the beach Ephesus. Selcuk is a town on top of the ancient city of Ephesus, built 10century before christ. It was one of the most powerful cities of the ancient world. Likewise, this place is rumoured to be where the tomb of Saint John is. Both the Virgin Mary and Saint John spent time in Ephesus.

Throughout the journey Paul will give talks and lead meditations. A real cleaning from all concepts we store in our system out regarding religions will happen, realizing our true nature as human beeings.
There is a possibility to expend the trip and spend 6 more days with Paul, in deep contemplation about the feminin stream in us, at a wonderful hotel in Ephesus while we are exploring the rich surroundings. Ephesus was an important city for early Christianity. The Gospel of John may have been written in Ephesus from 90 to 100 AD.:
- nearby attractions in the town of Selcuk such as the Basilica of St. John and the House of the Virgin Mary.
- the old city of Ephesus (300 B.C.),
- the home of the virgin Mary,
- the massive and powerful Apollo temple in Didim
- and the once important cities of Milet and Magnesia.

While Paul is our spiritual guide we are very fortunate to have as our historical and cultural guide Cengiz Serbes.
We enjoyed Cengiz encyclopaedic wisdom last March in Ephesus, and our honoured to have him for a much deeper travel through Anatolia. His love and passion of Anatolia's rich and textured heritage is only equaled by his love of life.
