Receive the Dove of Peace
Rediscovering the meaning of Pentecost in times of change
Online seminar: 30. May, 2020, from 13:00 to 17:0
In preparation for this year's Pentecost, I will be offering on Saturday, May 30th a 4 hour meditative online seminar. From 13:00 til 17:00 we will explore the revolutionary teachings of the Christ found in both John’s and Philip’s Gospels.
In Philip's spiritual masterpiece the Holy Spirit is faithfully portrayed as the universal mother of both the Christ, but of all of us as well. She guides and inspired us through the 'Winds of the World'.
John's Holy Spirit is fascinating and manifold. She is called the Paraclete: translated as the "counsellor", "helper", “advocate”, and "comforter". Through Philip and John's accounts we emerge we a radical and dynamic depiction of a mother of creation far more engaged in the world, and our awakening, than we ever expected.
What is the relationship between Baptism and the Pentecost?
Who exactly in the Holy Spirit?
What is the relationship between the Christ Logos and the Holy Spirit.
Answers to these vital questions offer direction and hope to our perplexing and chaotic times.
The hours together will be a balance of presentation and meditations.
